About the Role
Based in Miramichi, NB, Vye Construction and Paving is a family owned and operated company. We offer an array of services in the field of construction. We're seeking energetic and physically capable Civil Construction Labourers to assist our crew in various construction projects. As a Labourer, you will be responsible for manual labor tasks, and site maintenance. If you're willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
Assist skilled tradespeople, such as pipe layer, equipment operators, and surveyors
Perform manual labor tasks, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials
Operate small equipment, such as plate compactors, cut off saws, and jumping jacks
Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to safety protocols
Collaborate with crew members to achieve project goals and timelines
Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to company policies
 Requirements:
0-2 years of experience in civil construction or a related field
Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and equipment
Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced crew members
Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols and procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
